Lunch time date with Patricia

PERFORMING around the world in music and song, international mezzo soprano Patricia Jenkins started her career in Florida, while training under the famous opera singer, Gimi Bemi.

Patricia is performing at Winchester Cathedral, in a lunchtime concert on September 2 at 1pm.

Accompanied by the vicar of Ampfield, Peter Gilks, she will sing songs of love and devotion from such classical artists as Mozart, Strauss and Brahms as well as a more modern approach with songs by John Rutter.

For any further information regarding this show contact 01962 857 200 Patricia will then follow that performance by appearing at the St Michael's Church, Bassett Avenue, Southampton on September 4 starting at 2pm.

This time she will be accompanied by Val Corcoran.

The afternoon will be in aid of the St Michael's organ fund, and all donations to the fund will be greatly appreciated by the church.
