FANCY your chances in X-Factor-style auditions?
Now's your chance to show your talents as family holiday company Haven holds open auditions for entertainers in Southampton this week.
The open auditions are taking place at the Southampton Park Hotel, Cumberland Place, today and tomorrow.
Aspiring performers will be put through their paces by a panel of judges from Haven Holidays, which operates 35 holiday parks in the UK including Rockley Park, near Poole.
Haven wants to recruit 350 entertainers for the season beginning at the end of March.
Entertainments producer Simon Daniels said: "We are looking for dynamic people with bright, bubbly personalities. It's hard work but exhilarating and great fun."
Auditions
Auditions for FunStars, who help run the kids' clubs, talent shows and interactive stage shows, are from 9am, while auditions for dedicated singers and dancers are from 1pm.
Each day at Haven starts with character breakfasts when Haven mascots, Rory the Tiger, Bradley Bear and their friends entertain youngsters. Then there are kids' clubs, talent contests, interactive stage shows, bingo, party dances, games and competitions, character shows and professionally choreographed stage shows in the evening.
The audition will include games to break the ice, party dances to get you in the swing of a Haven holiday, and an opportunity to demonstrate your talent behind a microphone.

Loads of u are askin .. the age u have to be is 18. i think u can go on work experince though but u would have to ask Haven. Hope that helps. x

I want to be a funstar when i am older.
im onli 14 now so im wondering what you would have to do for gcse?? im already doing drama and the dance leaders award.
how do you apply for it when im older obviously but also how old do you have to be??
i want to work in the rockley park haven in poole.
any answers for me??

u have 2 be 18 n u dont need any qualifications to be a funstar, u just need the gift of the gab, u can go in on 3 catagories, general, singing or dancing, i am also findin it very hard to get the dates of audition dates as my m8 who is a funstar told me its in november, is he correct?
