It had been almost 5 years since I last visited this restaurant and it was as good if not better than I remembered!
La Vista is a small, intimate restaurant with beautiful views across the Hythe Marina with the yachts and speedboats moored along side.
The restaurant has an open kitchen allowing you to see your food being cooked and allowing for the smells to come out and have you salivating whilst you savour the wine from an extensive menu.
I had escalope of veal in a garlic and white wine sauce stuffed with parmesan and parma ham.
It is easily up there in one of the most incredible taste experiences I've had... and that's saying something!
This was followed by a pistachio ice cream which was to die for.
The owner is a social, friendly guy that goes around the restaurant making sure the guests are happy and had a good evening... which I guarantee you will have!
