US star of stage and screen Stefanie Powers caused a stir when she arrived in Southampton yesterday.
The actress, best known for her portrayal of Jennifer Hart in the hit 80s US drama Hart to Hart, was in town ahead of her appearance in the Mayflower's Christmas show Cinderella The Musical Pantomime.
She posed for photographs in a chaffeur driven Rolls-Royce outside the theatre to the surprise of onlookers and waved her magic wand under a specially erected Christmas tree.
The Emmy-nominated actress stars as the Fairy Godmother in the production alongside Christopher Biggins and Matthew Kelly.
