Weald and Downland Open air museum

Make the most of the great outdoors at this wonderful time of year at Weald and Downland Open air museum. Learn about the natural world, enjoy arts and crafts, and a host of outdoor games.
Explore all of the Museum's historic houses, and visit the 17th century
watermill to buy a bag of grain for the hungry ducks and their new ducklings on the millpond! Meet the working shire horses and cattle, and traditional breed farm animals including sheep, pigs, chickens and geese.
There are different activities each day, from 11am - 4pm, including:
l Spring into Action Animal trail
l Lacemaking
l Candle making
l Dress up as a Victorian
l Brass rubbing
l Working donkeys and much more.
The lakeside café will be open, plus there are indoor and outdoor picnic areas. Dogs on leads are welcome, lots of free parking.
