IF you love films or are interested in film-making, the inaugural Southampton Film Week will give you the chance to get involved with all sorts of exciting events and activities.

Southampton has a fantastically diverse film scene and Film Week will offer screenings and film-making workshops, the chance to enjoy historic film of the city and to see locally-made films from our independent film-makers and community groups.

The organisers, which include City Eye, Southampton's own film-making resource, are currently developing the programme but they are on the lookout for new ideas and films to screen.

If you have a film you would like to show or are an organisation that would like to host a film event, you could be included in the exciting programme.

For more information, call City Eye on 023 8067 7167, visit city-eye.co.uk or e-mail admin@city-eye.co.uk.

Southampton Film Week will run from September 26 to October 3 and will take place in venues and unexpected places across the city.
